Degree Program

The Order of the Stone Circle offers a degree program open to solitaries, triads, and full groves – though there are slight variations between the solitary and triad degrees and the degrees conferred by full groves.

While it is common for many modern Druid organizations to progress through the degrees of Bard, Ovate, and then Druid, it is common among revivalist Druid orders to progress through the degrees of Ovate, Bard, and then Druid – in that order. Each degree consists of three levels, and only one level may be taken per year.

All members are expected to undertake the first three levels within the Ovate degree as those provide foundational reference to the Order of the Stone Circle, general Druid concepts, and to revivalist Druidry.  There is no requirement for members to progress beyond the Ovate level, though we hope you will do so.
